Job summary

FPS Food Process Solutions Corporation is seeking an experienced Associate Director, Finance to lead the finance team, oversee reporting, budgeting, tax planning, and internal controls across global operations. The role partners with senior management to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives.

The successful candidate will manage intercompany financial processes, coordinate audits, and provide insights to improve cost management and cash flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• CPA designation.
• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including management-level experience.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, internal controls and global tax planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Company's finance and accounting functions and provide strategic financial and tax guidance to senior management.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and ensure information is accurate, timely and compliant with accounting standards.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting process and monitor actual results against budgets.
• Prepare financial analysis, management reports, cash flow forecasts, and other information to support business decisions.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
• Manage banking relationships and support financing, credit facilities, and other corporate financial initiatives.
• Coordinate year-end audits, tax filings, and external reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, engineering, and project management to improve financial performance.
• Provide financial oversight to subsidiaries and international operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems and reporting.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Associate Director, Finance to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Company's financial and tax planning, reporting, accounting, budgeting, cash flow management, and internal control functions while providing financial insights and support to senior management and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Company's finance and accounting functions and provide strategic financial and tax guidance to senior management.

• Work closely with operations, sales, engineering, project management, and other departments to improve financial performance and cost management.
• Provide financial oversight and support to the Company's subsidiaries and international operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, reporting, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CPA designation
• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including management-level experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, internal controls and global tax planning.
• Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting systems.
• Experience with manufacturing, engineering, project-based businesses, or international operations is an asset.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees and management across different functions and countries.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
