Your strategic focus will be on growth, market development, and industry leadership, driving initiatives that enhance aeronautical activity and strengthen relationships across the aviation ecosystem.You'll be responsible for spearheading air service and cargo development strategies, using data-driven insights to inform critical business decisions and aligning market expansion efforts with the broader objectives of the Air Service Development team. This includes identifying and pursuing high-potential air service markets, cultivating strong partnerships with airlines and stakeholders, and strategically positioning Toronto Pearson for continued success.Additionally, you'll collaborate closely with the Airline Relations team and cross-functional departments to advocate for increased capacity, optimize airline performance, and proactively address industry challenges. By driving innovative solutions and fostering a dynamic environment for airline investment, you'll be essential in shaping the future of Toronto Pearson's aeronautical growth.Who are we looking for?We're seeking someone with strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. You'll have an analytical mindset, capable of interpreting market data and trends to inform robust route development strategies. You'll bring proven experience in air service development, route planning, or airline network planning within the aviation industry, alongside a strong knowledge of airline industry dynamics, route development processes, and market trends.A key aspect of this role is the ability to build and maintain relationships with crucial stakeholders, including airline executives and government officials. You should be proficient in data analysis tools and market research methodologies, and possess proven project management skills, demonstrating the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Ideally, you'll have experience in multiple areas, including Aviation, Commerce, Business Development, and Stakeholder Relations.This is the role for you, if you have:Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fieldMaster’s in Operations Management, Aviation, or Systems Leadership, preferred7+ years of demonstrated, relevant work experience, inclusive of people leadership
