Job summary

Buildots is seeking an Account Management leader to manage relationships with North American executive stakeholders, advising on how to maximize the value of our technology and methodology across project portfolios. You will work with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to identify opportunities and drive growth, including ROI analyses and business cases.

The role requires 10+ years in construction/ConTech, strong communication, and proven experience influencing GC executives.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in construction or ConTech.
  • Experience delivering results as both a team leader and individual contributor.
  • Proven track record influencing C-suite executives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of project management and business processes in construction.
  • Proactive, fast-paced, problem solver.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders, guiding them through technology adoption.
  • Consult our clients on best practices to use our data and make our product part of their standard operations.
  • Analyze customer goals and challenges, and design enterprise-level initiatives to address them.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within our existing accounts, and partner with Sales to drive growth.
  • Collaborate with our Product team to relay customer insights and influence product development.
  • Develop business cases and ROI analyses to demonstrate Buildots' operational impact.

About the Role

This role sits within our Account Management team - a group of experienced construction professionals who serve as strategic partners to our clients' senior leadership. You’ll lead relationships with North American executive stakeholders, advising them on how to maximize the value of our technology and methodology across their project portfolios. By demonstrating a deep understanding of their goals and challenges, you’ll play a key role in creating our account strategies and drive measurable improvements in efficiency and project outcomes. Beyond relationship‑building, you’ll collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to identify opportunities to refine our offerings, and contribute to the future growth of Buildots.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with executive stakeholders, guiding them through technology adoption.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in the construction industry and/or construction technology (ConTech), ideally a mix of both.
  • Demonstrate the ability to deliver high quality results both as a team leader and independently.
  • Proven experience managing senior-level relationships, with a track record of successfully influencing GC executives.
  • Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills - we're looking for a people person.
  • Possess a deep understanding of both project management and business processes in the construction industry, and their integration with technology.
  • Proactive, with the ability to take a task from idea to production and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • A problem solver, thinking creatively to support our clients' needs.
  • Experience in Change Management - working with executive-level clients to implement software solutions in any of the following industries: Construction, Oil & Gas, Mining or Manufacturing - a strong advantage.
  • Willingness to travel.
We offer competitive compensation along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you professionally and personally:

The base salary range for this role is $200K-$250K CAD. Compensation within this range will vary based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for equity, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

This role is open to candidates across the United States.
