What you’ll be doing

Our Sales Reporting and Analysis team plays an important role in supporting variable compensation programs through accurate reporting, strong controls, and effective partner support. You’ll review and validate reported sales activity to ensure it is accurate, complete, and submitted on time, while aligning to the applicable compensation plan requirements. In everything you do, you’ll help ensure regulatory requirements are met and that the integrity of the sales validation process is maintained. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You will have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. The expected annualized base salary range for this role is $51,500 to $57,300. The base salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and job-related knowledge, as well as geographic location and specific business needs. In addition to base pay, compensation for this role includes participation in an annual discretionary incentive or bonus program. We are committed to providing fair, equitable, and competitive compensation opportunities for all employees and we encourage open conversations about compensation throughout the recruitment process.

How you’ll succeed

  • Pre-approval support - Support the front-end sales approval process by conducting pre-audits and confirming that required actions and documentation are in place before transactions are considered for payment.
  • Issue identification and resolution - Identify potential discrepancies, generate queries, and follow up with the appropriate partners to support timely investigation and resolution.
  • Reporting support - Assist the Manager, Sales Reporting and Analysis with recurring and ad hoc reporting, as well as communications related to sales reporting and validation activities.
  • Risk and compliance focus - Apply due diligence and strong controls to help maintain sales integrity and ensure all activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
