Associate Application Developer - Full Stack - Cloud

Introduction

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), delivering deep technical and industry expertise to a diverse range of clients worldwide. Our centers provide locally based skills to foster innovation and technological adoption.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, high-performance web applications.
• Handle full-stack development tasks including front-end UI, server-side logic, databases, and APIs.
• Develop cloud-based solutions using platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Create responsive, mobile-first applications with modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and testable code. Collaborate with teams to define and implement new features.
• Fix bugs and improve application performance.
• Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance development efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in Canada without future visa sponsorship (valid work permit, permanent residency, or Canadian citizenship).
• Willingness to live and work in Calgary, AB.

Preferred Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields.

Core Competencies

• Frontend: ReactJS and/or AngularJS, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Backend: Experience with Java (Spring Boot), .NET (C#), or Node.js.
• Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
