Job summary

The RBC Dominion Securities Branch in Oakville, ON is seeking an Associate to support an Investment Advisor by delivering exceptional client service, coordinating orders, and assisting in growing the business.

Role requires at least 1 year in the investment field, CIRE, strong MS Office skills, and excellent time management and communication abilities. Full-time, on-site, 37.5 hours/week with a salary range and incentive potential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience in the Investment field working as an Assistant/Associate.
  • Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) required.
  • Strong skills with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High quality time management and organization skills.
  • Demonstrated world-class client service — professional, warm and friendly.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Input and follow-up on client orders as directed by Investment Advisors.
  • Meet and greet prospects and clients.
  • Investigate and follow-up on client inquiries.
  • Utilize CRM for follow-up and documentation.
  • Investigate and resolve inquiries and refer to the Investment Advisor as needed.
  • Follow-up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery.
  • Review daily activity to stay current on client accounts.

The RBC Dominion Securities Branch located in Oakville, ON is looking for an Associate to join the team in maintaining, developing and growing an Investment Advisor's business by providing clients exceptional service in an efficient and professional manner.

What you will do:
  • Input and follow-up on client orders as directed by IA’s
  • Meet and greet prospects and clients
  • Investigate and follow-up on all client inquiries
  • Utilize contact management system for all necessary follow up
  • Investigate and resolve inquiries and complaints related to accounts and refer to the Investment Advisor where appropriate
  • Follow-up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery
  • Maintain current knowledge of client accounts by reviewing daily activity online and on applicable reports
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the Investment field working as an Assistant/Associate

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$37,500.00 - $50,000.00

This position includes competitive-based pay, and the overall earning potential is impacted by a variable incentive structure, earning a multiple of salary up to:
