POSITION DESCRIPTION :

The Assistant to the Care Manager contributes to the planning and monitoring of activities related to the care and well-being of residents. They ensure compliance with professional standards as well as the certification regulations for private seniors' residences relevant to their sector.

We are looking for an Assistant Care Manager, full-time, temporary position, daytime, every other weekend.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

  1. Act as an intermediary for external stakeholders (doctors, pharmacists, CLSC, CISSS, etc.)
  2. Contribute to the clinical assessment and monitoring of residents and ensure work routes are updated according to their specific needs
  3. Collaborate in staffing, training, and integrating new employees in your sector
  4. Assist in staffing and billing analysis to improve efficiency and profitability of health services
  5. Ensure the accuracy of data entered in work routes in Symo
  6. In the absence of the Health Services Manager, handle communication and maintain trust with residents, families, and loved ones
  7. Participate in establishing and maintaining protocols for prevention and appropriate resident care
  8. Plan human resources and ensure timely replacement of care staff as needed
  9. Practice in accordance with laws, standards, residents' values, and beliefs
  10. Provide health and wellness care aimed at maintaining, restoring health, and preventing disease
  11. Take appropriate measures in emergency situations
  12. Collaborate with the Health Services Manager to supervise and mobilize registered and auxiliary nurses and resident attendants

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS :

  1. DEC in nursing or DEP in health care assistance, nursing
  2. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  3. Member of the OIIAQ
  4. Experience in personnel management (asset)
  5. Minimum of 3 to 5 years in nursing
