Job Description

The Opportunity:

Are you obsessed with fashion and have a flair for numbers? Join the Reitmans buying team as the Assistant to a Fashion Buyer, where you'll merge your style savvy with analytical skills to support our dynamic buying process.

What You'll Do:

1. Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
2. Prepare best-seller reports alongside the Product Manager.
3. Attend fit sessions and review samples, labels, and advertising materials to ensure accuracy.
4. Maintain and update documentation, including look books and purchase order records.
5. Monitor and track budgets, providing regular updates to the buying team.
6. Prepare materials for meetings and participate in team discussions.

Qualifications

Who you are:

1. College diploma in Fashion Merchandising, administration or equivalent field of study.
2. 1-year + related experience.
3. Excellent sense of style and knowledge of fashion trends.
4. Good communication and teamwork skills.
5. Good understanding of competitive landscape and trends.
