Dollarama in Fredericton, NB is seeking an Assistant Team Leader to support the management team in executing daily store operations and delivering excellent customer service.

You will supervise staff, assist with shipments, stock shelves, and help manage breaks, time and attendance, ensuring safe, clean and efficient store operations.

Qualifications

• Approximately one (1) year of relevant experience in the retail industry.
• At least one (1) year in a supervisory role.

Daily Tasks (but not limited to)

• Assisting the management team in managing store operations and staff.
• Boxing and unboxing daily shipments.
• Stocking daily products on shelves.
• Climbing ladders to reach all areas of the store.
• Providing good customer service and resolving customer issues.
• Ensuring store safety and cleanliness standards are maintained.
• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
• Following up on assigned tasks.
• Conducting manager-on-duty tasks: making sure daily breaks, time and attendance are properly tracked and participating in the hiring and performance management process.

What Do You Need to Succeed?
