Job summary

Wascana in Canada seeks a Child Protection Assistant Supervisor to supervise, manage, and implement protective, preventative, and support services for children, parents, and foster families using the Family Centered Case Management and PRIDE Models of Practice.

You will coach, mentor, and train staff, demonstrate leadership, provide guidance in the absence of the supervisor, and collaborate with partner agencies to ensure service delivery and adherence to policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, guidance and support to staff in the absence of the supervisor regarding placements of children and supporting caregivers
• Assist with service delivery between Child and Family division programs, work units, and partner agencies
• Be knowledgeable about Ministry policies and procedures as outlined in the Child and Family Services Act, Family/Children’s Services, and PRIDE Manuals
• Act as a liaison with First Nations CFS and community agencies with service delivery and decisions
• You may represent your unit, Ministry, or region on community or internal committees

Job description

We are looking for individuals to join our team as a Child Protection Assistant Supervisor. Assistant Supervisors within Child & Family Programs:
