Job summary

At Lids, the Assistant Store Manager role concentrates on leading store operations, developing the team, and delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will drive sales, manage scheduling in the absence of the Store Manager, and uphold Lids’ standards across merchandising, inventory, and service.

Ideal candidates demonstrate the ability to work independently, supervise staff, and uphold company policies while fostering a positive, inclusive store environment and contributing to store KPIs.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues or customer complaints when Store Manager is absent.
• Lead and train store personnel and ensure adherence to training programs and goals.
• Engage team to support company objectives and ensure store performance and customer service.
• Maintain scheduling, staffing, and disciplinary processes in absence of store leadership.
• Execute the selling strategy to achieve KPIs and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Adhere to visual merchandising guidelines and maintain store cleanliness.
• Assist in inventory management, pricing changes, and product counts.
