Job summary

Red Apple Stores is recruiting for an Assistant Store Manager at our Fort Nelson, BC location. You will open and close the store, supervise the team, merchandise, and support the Store Manager in daily operations to deliver great service to customers.

The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of retail experience, can work independently or with a team, is organized, and can handle evenings and weekends. We offer competitive wages and benefits and opportunities for promotion.

Qualifications

• General experience in retail for 2-3 years.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store.
• Supervise the store and lead the team in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Maintain and delegate daily tasks using the Store Tour Book.
• Order, receive and stock merchandise.
• Set up windows and in-store displays and signage.
• Complete timely and accurate inventory cycle counts.
• Process product returns, price changes and markdowns.
• Provide excellent customer service at the register and beyond.
• Recruit, train and schedule Associates & Keyholders.
• Submit reports and payroll to Home Office.
• Assist the Store Manager with store paperwork, emails and other projects.
