Job summary

Red Apple Stores ULC in Fort Nelson, BC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a friendly team, open/close the store, merchandise, and support the Store Manager in driving sales and service.

The role requires 2-3 years of retail experience, ability to work evenings and weekends, and strong organizational skills. You will recruit and train staff, manage payroll reports, and maintain displays while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• General experience in retail for 2-3 years.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-task environment.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store
• Supervise the store and lead the team in the absence of the Store Manager
• Maintain and delegate daily tasks and updates using the Store Tour Book
• Order, receive and stock merchandise
• Set up windows and in-store displays and signage
• Complete timely and accurate inventory cycle counts
• Process product returns, price changes and mark downs
• Provide excellent Customer Service at the register and otherwise
• Recruit, train and schedule Associates & Keyholders
• Submit reports and Payroll to Home Office
• Assist the Store Manager with store paperwork, emails and other projects
