Job Description

1. Coaching and Development

  • Observes and coaches team members’ behaviors to maintain high standards of customer service and product knowledge.
  • Develops and trains team members on exemplary customer service as per Company standards.
  • Trains team members on new arrivals, product knowledge, and current fashion trends.
  • Acts as a role model in catering to the customers’ unique needs and meets management contribution standards.
  • Conducts SPA weekly.
  • Promotes the website, store CRM, loyalty programs, marketing initiatives, and direct ship options.
  • Fosters a vibrant, fun, energetic, and enjoyable store environment.

2. Customer Service

  • Demonstrates excellent floor leadership, maintaining control of the sales floor and monitoring segment accountability results.
  • Monitors traffic trends and reacts promptly.
  • Builds and maintains a personal clientele using Laura Canada’s tools, encouraging team members to do the same.
  • Shares knowledge on current fashion trends, product, and customer needs to demonstrate strong wardrobing skills.

3. Store Performance

Contributes to achieving key financial objectives such as closing ratio and hours worked.

4. People Management

  • Participates in recruiting top talent using all company recruitment tools.
  • Maintains a high-performing team through assessment, coaching, and performance evaluations.
  • Addresses team members’ issues and manages underperformance promptly, utilizing company resources and documentation.
  • Delegates responsibilities appropriately to Sales Associates.
  • Ensures successful onboarding and integration of new Sales Associates with orientation, feedback, and reviews.
  • Supports team members’ career development and skill enhancement in partnership with management.
  • Ensures team compliance with company policies and procedures, including dress code, loss prevention, health & safety, and HR policies.
  • Acts as a backup to the Store Manager.
Qualifications
  • Passion for fashion and customer service that is contagious.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience and a passion for coaching and developing others.
  • Proficient in delegation and follow-up.
  • Ability to create a motivating work environment focused on learning and growth.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrates initiative continuously.
  • Open to feedback and implements changes promptly.
