Job summary

Peoples Jewellers is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to impact customer experience and drive sales. You will support the Store Manager in daily standards, train staff, and recruit team members while upholding company policies.

This role emphasizes integrity, teamwork, and advancement from within, with a focus on delivering exceptional service. Base pay ranges from $20.00 to $23.50 per hour plus commission, with full-time benefits including medical, dental, vision, and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience is required, preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily standards to achieve sales and profit projections.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction and team development.
• Train and evaluate team members' product knowledge and skills, supporting advancement from within.
• Recruit and select team members and enforce Company policies and procedures.
• Perform other operational and strategic duties as needed.
