Peoples Jewellers is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in achieving sales and profit targets while delivering an outstanding customer experience. The role focuses on leading a team, enforcing standards, and driving training.

You will recruit, develop staff, and ensure adherence to company policies in a fast-paced jewellery retail setting. Base pay ranges from $20.00–$23.50 per hour plus commission, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience is required, preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on standards achievement to attain sales and profit projections.
• Contributing to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction.
• Developing skills and product knowledge of team members through training and evaluation.
• Recruiting and selection of team members.
• Following and enforcing all Company policies and procedures and performing other operational and strategic duties.
