Job summary

Peoples Jewellers is looking for a dynamic Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in achieving daily sales, standards and customer satisfaction. You will help develop team members, recruit staff, and uphold company policies while contributing to a positive customer experience.

The role requires knowledge of POS terminals, scanners, and basic computer software, plus availability to work days, nights and weekends. A strong adherence to training and product knowledge is expected.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience is required.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily standards to reach sales and profit projections.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction and training of team members.
• Recruit and select team members and enforce company policies and procedures.
• Support operational and strategic duties as assigned.
