Job summary

Peoples Jewellers, part of Signet Jewelers, seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Canada to support daily store operations, drive sales, and lead team development. You will help maintain standards, train staff, and ensure exceptional customer service.

The role requires retail experience and flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends in a fast-paced jewellery environment. Competitive compensation includes base pay plus commissions and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience is required, preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager to maintain daily standards and achieve sales and profit projections.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction and product knowledge through training and evaluation of team members.
• Recruitment and selection of team members, and enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Perform operational and strategic duties as assigned.
