Overview

We are looking for a full-time Assistant Store Manager for our Metrotown location. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will support and oversee our retail team, focusing on training, exceeding sales targets, maintaining a clean environment, and delivering a memorable Vessi customer experience. You will embody the Vessi brand and foster a strong team culture.

This role offers autonomy to implement retail best practices and is vital to our store's success and Vessi's growth.

Hourly wage starting at $26.05/hour

What You’ll Do: Store Operations

• Support Store Manager in ensuring store operations meet company standards, including opening/closing, staff scheduling, cash handling, inventory, loss prevention, IT systems, and safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Support community and event activations onsite as needed.

People Management

• Assist in recruiting and onboarding sales staff aligned with Vessi’s values.
• Help manage weekly schedules and time-off requests.
• Provide retail training to staff on products, SOPs, and best practices.
• Foster employee engagement and a positive store culture.
• Guide and coach team members, escalating issues to the Store Manager when necessary.

Performance

• Represent Vessi as a brand ambassador, delivering exceptional in-store experiences.
• Lead by example to drive sales and meet business goals.
• Monitor store KPIs such as sales per hour, ATV, conversion rate, NPS, and inventory metrics.
• Ensure a customer-focused approach is maintained at all times.
