Job summary

JACK & JONES in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations, coach the team, and ensure an outstanding customer experience.

You will collaborate with the Store Manager to meet sales goals, merchandise effectively, and mentor staff; availability 35–40 hours/week and English communication required. This role offers a competitive starting salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in store management
• Experience in maintaining operational excellence in retail stores (analyzing KPIs, scheduling, inventory management)
• Proven leadership in recruitment and development of talent
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Regularly assess, support, train, and coach team members on product knowledge, styling, sales techniques, and operational procedures.
• Support the Store Manager with daily, weekly, and monthly operations, setting daily sales goals and KPIs.
• Develop in-store talent and future leaders by motivating teammates and encouraging internal promotions.
• Perform store opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure all products and displays are effectively merchandised to maximize sales and profitability.

Salary:

The starting salary for this position is $47,000.00 per year . Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant years of experience in comparable roles and functions.

Being an ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER, is:

• 2-5 years’ experience in store management, ideally in the fashion industry.
• Experience in maintaining operational excellence in retail stores (analyzing KPIs, scheduling, inventory management, etc.).
• Proven leadership skills in the recruitment and development of talent and mentoring team members.
• Excellent communication skills in English, written and spoken.
• Experience in visual merchandising, an asset.
• Available to work 35–40 hours per week, 7 days a week.
