Job description

As an Assistant Store Manager at Claires, you will support your Store Manager with the following :

• Sales and profit : Driving and achieving retail store targets
• Customer service : delivering the finest level of customer service
• Store operations : keeping the store running smoothly
• Commerciality : Ensuring your store is well merchandised and commercially correct
• Team leadership : Assisting Store Manager in training and coaching the store team to enhance their skills and career development
• Ear piercing (you will receive full training)

• Our core customer ranges from children to young women, with styles from feminine and pretty to unique and on-trend

About You

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum one year retail management experience
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills
• Strong math and reading comprehension skills
• Customer service-oriented mindset
• Ability to analyze sales reports and solve problems strategically
• Ability to stand during shifts
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, reach, climb ladders and step stools while merchandising and assisting customers
• Ability to operate POS system

Range : $20.50 - $22.50 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, voluntary welfare plans, bonus eligibility, 401(k) match, vacation, sick leave, and paid time off. Full-time and part-time benefits vary by location and status.
