The Role :

We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our CF Carrefour Laval location. Join our growing team at JD Sports Canada. Your main responsibilities will include delivering excellent customer service, fostering team growth, and ensuring operational excellence through managerial tasks such as scheduling, inventory management, and employee performance evaluation.

Key Duties / Responsibilities :

• Lead the team to provide outstanding customer experiences through coaching and motivation while driving sales.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction by possessing strong product knowledge.
• Train and develop team members focused on delivering exceptional experiences to our community.
• Achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Ensure sales, customer experience, merchandising, visual presentation, and operational standards are met.
• Act as a liaison between customers, sales associates, and store leadership.
• Stay informed about product knowledge and trends to meet customer needs.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Support key initiatives in partnership with the Store Manager.
• Proactively grow the business through community outreach.
• Prioritize company culture, personal growth, and self-awareness.
• Deliver memorable experiences by sharing our products passionately with the community.

Skills / Experience / Knowledge needed :

• Minimum 2 years of retail experience.
