Job summary

Dollarama in Halifax, Canada seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support daily retail operations, help lead a team, and drive sales while delivering excellent customer experiences. The role involves merchandising, training staff, and ensuring store safety and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of retail experience.
• At least two (2) years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving sales goals. Acts as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager’s absence.

Daily Tasks (but not limited to)

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.
• Helping with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments.
