Job summary

Dollarama in Corner Brook, Canada, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in daily retail operations, ensure customer satisfaction, and help achieve sales goals.

You will act as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager’s absence, assist with staffing, merchandising, cash handling, training, and upholding store safety and standards. This is a full-time role with opportunities for career growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in retail experience.
• At least two years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability including days, evenings and weekends.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.
• Helping with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments.
• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues.

• Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback.
