Job summary

Dollarama is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Delta, BC, to support the Store Manager in daily retail operations and help drive sales goals while delivering excellent customer service.

You will oversee staffing, training, and supervising a team, manage merchandising, cash handling, and opening/closing duties, and act as Manager on Duty in the Manager’s absence. This full-time role offers growth and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of retail experience.
• At least two years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability (day, evening, weekend).
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.
• Helping with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments.
• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues.
• Training, coaching, and developing employees.
• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.
• Assigning tasks to the team and ensuring store safety and cleanliness.
• Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback.
• Ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.
