Job summary

Dollarama in Grande Prairie is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations, drive sales, and ensure customer satisfaction.

You will lead staffing, merchandising, cash handling, and safety compliance, while training and coaching employees and coordinating store initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail experience.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Open availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the Store Manager with operations and staff management.
• Helping with merchandising, stocking, and unpacking daily shipments.
• Providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues.
• Training, coaching, and developing employees.
• Performing cash management, store opening and closing duties as needed.

• Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback.
• Ensuring adherence to company policies and safety standards.

Daily Tasks (but not limited to)

What Do You Need to Succeed?
