Job summary

Wickaninnish Inn on the West Coast of Vancouver Island is seeking an Assistant Spa Manager to lead the Ancient Cedars Spa team. You will uphold Relais & Châteaux, Forbes, and AAA standards while modeling outstanding guest service.

You will manage HR tasks, scheduling, training, payroll, budget reviews, and spa software transitions, while ensuring cleanliness and a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role requires shift flexibility, evenings, weekends, and a two-year commitment to our luxury

Qualifications

• The minimum of 2 years of management experience in a high‑end luxury facility.
• Ability to commit to a 2‑year role in a luxury spa environment.
• Strong HR and payroll coordination skills.
• Excellent guest service, leadership and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient and personalized guest service meeting top luxury standards.
• Lead by example as part of the Ancient Cedars Spa Leadership Team.
• Assist Spa Manager and act in their absence as a hands-on leader.
• Foster learning and development within the spa team.
• Oversee cleanliness and physical condition of the spa facilities.
• Serve as guest contact for immediate assistance and follow-up.
• Support HR tasks: scheduling, training, payroll, performance reviews.
• Assist in budget strategies to achieve monthly spa targets.
• Support transition to SpaSoft software and create SOPs.
• Monitor retail performance and coach practitioners on sales.
