Job description

Purpose and Scope:The Solar O&M Technician is responsible for assisting Solar O&M Technicians in the completion of daily maintenance activity of solar energy systems and components.

Responsibilities:

• Assist solar O&M technicians in maintaining solar energy systems. Operate pressure washing equipment to clean solar modules. Help lift inverters and modules into/out of mounts and other activities as directed. Operate scissor lifts, and other equipment as needed.

Skills / Other:

• Ability to read equipment and safety manuals and fill out job completion reports.
• Ability to operate digital communication devices.
• Responsive, time-sensitive.
• Interpersonal skills to interact in a pleasant manner with both coworkers and the public.
• Detail-oriented.
• Solid time management and organizational skills.
• Flexible schedule, able to work beyond regular days/hours, possibly out of the area, with overnight stays
