Job summary

North Shore Honda is currently seeking an Assistant Service Manager. This role reports to the Service Manager and supports day-to-day operations of the Service Department to deliver consistently high customer satisfaction.

The position works with Service Advisors, technicians, and leadership to ensure efficient service processes and a positive service experience. This is a commission-based position and requires strong customer service and automotive knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of combined experience in an automotive service environment.
• General understanding of vehicle mechanics and service operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager with the daily operations of the Service Department.
• Support Service Advisors in managing customer interactions, appointments, and follow-up communication.
• Assist customers with service reminders, appointment scheduling, recall notifications, and service visit follow-ups.
• Help ensure high-quality service and repairs are delivered to customers.
• Handle escalated customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate service records and reporting in accordance with manufacturer and dealership requirements.
• Support adherence to dealership processes, standards, and operational procedures; work collaboratively with technicians and other departments to promote efficient workflow.
• Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and customer-focused service environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the Service Department.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support service operations.

Position Overview

North Shore Honda is currently looking to fill the position of Assistant Service Manager. Reporting to the Service Manager, thisrole supports the day-to-day operations of the Service Department andcontributes to delivering a consistently high level of customer satisfaction.

The Assistant Service Manager plays an important role insupporting Service Advisors, assisting with operational oversight, ensuringservice processes are followed, and helping to resolve customer concerns. Thisposition works closely with customers, technicians, and dealership leadershipto support efficient service operations and a positive service experience.

This is a Commission Based position.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications Required

Experience & Knowledge

• Minimum 5 years of combined experience in anautomotive service environment (e.g., Service Advisor, Technician, ShopForeperson, or related role)
• General understanding of vehicle mechanics and service operations
