As an Assistant Security Supervisor, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling a mall environment. We are looking for our next GardaWorld Ambassador to lead a great team of security professionals!

Full-time Opportunity - 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri 0700-1500.

Responsibilities for Assistant Security Supervisor

• Provide coaching, guidance, and supervision to security team members.
• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols and check all doors are secured.
• Manage difficult or irate callers and de-escalate tense situations over the phone.
• Engage with customers, employees, and visitors on the property.
• Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
• Perform in high-risk situations, potentially involving high-risk individuals.
• Document all incidents through report writing.
• Liaise with clients to ensure effective communication and satisfaction.
• Respond promptly and decisively to security incidents or emergencies.
• Apprehend offenders and turn them over to the appropriate authorities.

Qualifications for Assistant Security Supervisor

• 2 to 4 years of experience in the security industry.
• Valid security guard license and first aid certification.
• Availability to work flexible hours.
• Eligible to work in Canada.
• Advanced computer and telephonic skills.
• Proficiency in operating security systems, alarms, and access control systems.
• SSRED certification.
