What does an Assistant Shift Security Supervisor in Calgary do?

• Review all submitted team incident reports for quality assurance.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, tenants, and emergency services.
• Review and export CCTV footage using digital CCTV systems.
• Provide excellent customer service to various tenants.
• Provide first aid and basic life safety in an emergency situation.
• Must be able to cover a guard's shift on an as-needed basis.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations with the shift supervisor.

Qualifications we require for an Assistant Shift Security Supervisor in Calgary:

• 1-3 years of experience in security supervision.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Valid Alberta Security license.
• Must be able to work 4/4 12-hour rotational shifts (2 days/2 nights).
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
• Demonstrated ability to follow operational security measures, protect confidential information, and exercise good judgment and discretion.
• Comprehension of the Canadian Criminal Code and Trespass to Property Act powers of arrest.
• Strong customer service skills, mature attitude, and professionalism.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Leadership and mentorship skills.
• Able to work in a team environment or independently as required.
