Job summary

McDonald’s Vernon, BC (Silver Star) is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, inventory control, staff performance, and customer service. You will plan schedules, ensure health and safety compliance, and implement procedures to optimize service and revenues.

The role requires a College/CEGEP diploma (3 months to <1 year) and 1–2 years of experience. English language skills are required. This is a permanent, full-time position with health care and other benefits, based in Vernon, BC (Silver Star).

Qualifications

• Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
• Language: English.

• Cost products and services; Organize and maintain inventory; Conduct performance reviews; Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations; Determine type of services to be offered and implement procedures; Monitor revenues and adjust procedures/prices; Ensure health and safety regulations are followed; Set staff work schedules and monitor performance; Address customers' complaints; Provide customer service; Recruit, train and supervise staff.
• Support for Youths: On-the-job training and mentorship opportunities for youth.
