Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise in Alberta is seeking an Inventory/Storeroom Coordinator to support the Food & Beverage operations. You will receive products, manage inventory, and coordinate with the Purchasing Office under the guidance of the Executive Chef.

This role requires completing high school, strong math, WHMIS, and leadership abilities. The position offers subsidized on-site accommodations, meals, and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma completed.
• Strong math skills are essential.
• WHMIS and food handling certification required.
• Experience with training/management assets.
• Physically capable with good stamina.
• Proven leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Experience in warehouse management is an asset.
• Knowledge of hotel operations is an asset.
• Team player with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Receive and check weights, costs, quantities, and quality.
• Prepare daily food and beverage orders; use Birchstreet.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Executive Chef; store & secure items.
• Assist with month-end inventories and variance reporting.
• Train and develop staff; communicate through meetings and coaching.
• Maintain safety and environmental procedures.
• Support F&B department inventory levels and communications.
