Job summary

Avenue Living Residential invites you to join our Calgary-based team as a Property Manager Assistant. You will manage leasing, renewals, and resident relations across our growing portfolio with a focus on safety, efficiency and exceptional service.

You'll collaborate with our Residential Portfolio Manager to maintain budget vigilance, coordinate maintenance, and ensure smooth move-ins and move-outs, while upholding Yardi data integrity and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous property management experience is an asset.
• Strong budgeting and financial acumen is required.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Clean driver’s abstract is required to be considered.
• Must complete and pass a criminal record check.

Responsibilities

• Participate in full leasing: manage calendar, leads, showings, applications and leases.
• Complete renewal activities: offers 90 days prior, follow-ups 30 days prior, documents updated in system.
• Support collections: notify residents of payment issues, serve notices, follow up, resolve issues quickly.
• Assist Residential Portfolio Manager to maintain portfolio inventory; plan suite turns; issue POs; update Yardi.
