Job summary

Turner & Townsend in Canada is seeking an Assistant Project Coordinator to support delivery of retail, commercial, and corporate interior fit-out projects from planning through close-out.

You will work with project managers, coordinate design, procurement, and construction activities, and gain exposure to the full lifecycle while operating in a hybrid role based in Toronto, Vancouver, or Montreal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in project coordination or management.
• Experience with retail, commercial, or fit-out projects is preferred.
• Ability to read construction drawings and manage multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of retail, commercial, and corporate office fit-out projects throughout the lifecycle.
• Assist with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and close-out activities.
• Coordinate information between clients, consultants, contractors, vendors and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, action logs, risk registers, and budgets.
• Participate in design reviews and coordinate documentation.
• Assist with procurement, contracts, and budget tracking.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or a related field
