Job summary

The Entrepreneurship Center by UofCanada seeks a Student Counselor to provide comprehensive counseling for students addressing academic, personal, social, and career development in a confidential setting.

You will collaborate with faculty and staff, conduct outreach programs and workshops, assess student needs, and help plan annual calendars and events to promote student well-being.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • BA/BSc in Psychology.
  • Psychologist with 3-5 years’ experience in academic institutions for a part-time role.
  • Experience in counseling students in a higher education setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of student development theory and counseling techniques.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and listening skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
