The Faculty of Business, Communication Studies & Aviation comprises the Bissett School of Business, the School of Communication Studies, and the Aviation Program. The Bissett School of Business offers a four-year Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with majors in accounting, human resources, and general management. The Aviation Program offers a two-year Aviation Diploma and a four-year Bachelor of Aviation Management. The School of Communications Studies offers a four-year Bachelor of Communication Studies (BComms) with various majors.
The Department of General Management & Human Resources at Mount Royal University invites applications for a three-year, limited-term faculty position in general management at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August 15, 2025. We seek an individual who can contribute to the general management program, particularly in teaching and developing curriculum for introductory courses such as Management Principles and Practices and Business Communication.
This role follows the teaching/service pattern (TS) and requires the successful candidate to teach eight 3-credit hour courses per academic year, typically averaging 35-40 students per class.
