About the Role

The Department of Accounting and Finance invites applications for a tenure-track position in Accounting at the rank of Assistant Professor, commencing on July 1, 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching introductory and advanced accounting courses and contributing to an industry-focused, experiential learning-integrated accounting program.

Qualifications

The following attributes are required:

• A completed Master of Business Administration (MBA) or a Master’s Degree in Accounting or a related business discipline from an accredited post-secondary institution
• A Chartered Professional Designation in Accounting (e.g., CPA)
• Proficiency in teaching in a post-secondary institution or equivalent
• Practical professional experience in accounting
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
• A willingness to mentor and coach students

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in curriculum development, preferably in industry-focused experiential learning.
