Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee the unit alongside the Manager and team, ensuring smooth residential dining operations.

You will develop meal and break schedules, train and lead staff, manage catering orders with weekly invoicing, perform administrative duties, and maintain client relationships while upholding quality assurance and health and safety programs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the unit together with the Manager and team to ensure residential dining operations run smoothly.
  • Develop and monitor a meal and break schedule for staff that does not interfere with customer service.
  • Train, develop and lead a team of associates providing excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and organize catering orders with weekly invoicing.
  • Perform administrative duties, including cash register readings, inventory, banking, ordering and the Be a Star Program administration.
  • Be accountable for client and customer relationship building.
  • Ensure compliance with Compass Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Programs.

Job description

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $53,000. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards program will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role.   • Perform administrative duties, including cash register readings, orbit, inventory, banking, ordering and the administration of the “Be a Star Program.”

  • Ensure strict compliance of Compass Quality Assurance and Health and Safety Programs
