Job summary

IATA is seeking a proactive professional to support Industry advocacy solutions and the rollout of global standards for aircraft Technical Operations and Supply Chain. You will work with the team to advance advocacy-driven use cases, coordinating with airlines and industry stakeholders.

The role involves analyzing feedback, preparing technical content, and facilitating community engagement through IATA Connect, webinars, and conferences, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience with an airline in a relevant domain such as engineering, procurement and contracts, vendor and/or materials management.
• Excellent presentation and written communication skills in English.
• Stakeholder management across diverse organizations and cultures.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyse, and consolidate feedback from MRO SmartHub working groups to identify user needs and areas for efficiency and operations improvements.
• Support assessments for development and implementation of potential new features.
• Develop, administer, and engage the industry community through IATA Connect and support the platform team in events and advocacy activities.
• Coordinate advocacy initiatives, webinars, and workshops with airlines and industry stakeholder groups.
• Support advocacy activities with ICAO, Regulators and industry associations on maintenance and aircraft operational matters.
• Assist the team on organizational priorities and special assignments.

About the team you are joining

The team is responsible for the development of Industry advocacy solutions, the roll-out of global standards policies and initiatives related to aircraft Technical Operations and Supply Chain.
You will report to the Manager, Technical Operations and Supply Chain and will support on MRO SmartHub adoption and evolution through community management, stakeholder coordination, working‑group analysis, and program enablement, providing operational and analytical support to advance advocacy‑driven use cases.

What your day would be like

Collect, analyse, and consolidate feedback from MRO SmartHub working groups to identify user needs, and areas for efficiency and operations improvements. Support assessments for the development and implementation of potential new features.
Support the development of MRO SmartHub technical content materials, including participation to support the platform team in conferences, symposiums, webinars, and advocacy engagement with airlines and industry stakeholders.
Support with development, administration, and ongoing engagement of the industry community through IATA Connect with an objective to establish useful links with the MRO SmartHub operations community.
Coordinate advocacy initiatives, Webinars, and workshops with airlines and relevant industry stakeholder groups.
Support the department’s advocacy activities with ICAO, Regulators and industry associations on maintenance, regulatory and aircraft operational matters.
Provide support to the team on organizational priorities and special assignments.

A Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience with an airline in a relevant domain such as engineering, procurement and contracts, vendor and/or materials management.
Curiosity, good analytical skills and a strategic mindset, and a drive to innovate through impactful Industry programs for the benefit of the IATA airline members.
A team player with a growth mindset, strong cross-functional and collaborative approach, for within and outside the department.
Familiarity with aircraft product support frameworks with an airline, as well as with aircraft and engines systems (e.g: aircraft general familiarization course certificates) would be a plus
Stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse organizations and cultures.
Ability to organize Industry workshops and conferences,
Excellent presentation and written communication skills in English.
Strong team player and collaborative mindset.
