Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership (MLSE) is seeking a Hospitality & F&B leader for Real Sports Bar Grill in Toronto to guide front-of-house service, uphold standards, and drive guest experience. You will coach supervisors, manage inventory, and ensure health & safety compliance in a dynamic sports venue.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in hospitality, events and/or experiential marketing.
  • Strong track record of collaborating with cross functional partners.
  • Strong understanding of sponsorship and financial reporting.
  • Outstanding communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Creative, problem solving and analytical approach.
  • Self-motivated and eager to take on new challenges.
  • Solid understanding of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the sports and entertainment industry.

Responsibilities

  • Support a service team in the front-of-house area of the restaurant.
  • Provide leadership and direction by handling standards of quality, service, safety, and profit for the restaurant.
  • Coach, train, develop, and empower the Supervisors and front-of-house Service teams.
  • Perform inventory checks and maintain accurate stock.
  • Assist in expediting food orders to the dining room.
  • Resolve order discrepancies quickly and effectively.
  • Supervise the floor during service; respond to customer concerns.
  • Ensure closing duties are completed in an accurate manner.
  • Document service issues and resolutions.
  • Assist with the development of business plans and implement strategies in compliance with the approved plan.
  • Ensure compliance with all related regulations such as those pertaining to Health & Safety and AGCO.
  • Carry out administrative functions pertaining to hiring, scheduling, payroll, performance reviews, coaching, counselling and discipline.
  • Adhere to MLSE service standards, policies and Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Lead by example in team management and development, utilizing a “one team” approach; ensure departmental integrity and winning vision are intact.
  • Help foster a culture that unites and empowers our employees to create extraordinary moments.

Compensation Range/Rate: $55,000 - $56,000 Bonus, vacation, competitive benefits, and many exciting perks are also included.
