Job Title: Assistant Manager, Regulatory Trade Reporting (GWO)

Purpose

The Assistant Manager supports an efficient Regulatory Reporting & Control function within Global Wholesale Operations, handling daily controls and supporting projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance of trade and transaction reporting activities with regulations such as MIFID 2, CIRO, CAT, SFTR, SMMD, Electronic Bluesheets.
  • Identify and escalate reporting issues via daily reconciliation controls.
  • Prepare management reports and dashboards for various management levels.
  • Remediate reporting issues and improve controls in collaboration with stakeholders, including Operational Risk Oversight, Technology, and Trade Repositories.
  • Develop expertise in regulatory reporting requirements across jurisdictions.
  • Analyze regulatory changes and support necessary internal adjustments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet reporting obligations.
  • Participate in change management projects to ensure robust reporting controls.
  • Review and improve processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Create and maintain policies and procedures.
  • Consider risk appetite and culture in daily activities and decisions.
  • Maintain operational effectiveness and compliance with risk management frameworks, AML/ATF guidelines, and conduct standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong business analysis skills and project lifecycle experience.
  • Experience in daily controls, escalation, remediation, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of reporting regimes like MiFID II, SFTR, CIRO, SMMD, CAT, FR2420, Bluesheets is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, organizational, and data analysis skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
  • Advanced communication skills for senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Interpersonal skills to build stakeholder confidence.
  • Technical skills: Power BI, Tableau, Data Structures, Documentation, VBA.
