Job summary

Harnois Énergies is seeking our next Assistant Manager for our Proxi convenience store. If you thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and enjoy organizing a busy shop, this role could be for you.

You’ll manage daily store operations in the manager’s absence, maintain a clean checkout, handle administrative tasks, and train and motivate the team. A DEP is a plus, and two years’ retail supervision experience is preferred. Full-time schedule includes weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation and ability to engage with customers.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in fast-paced store environments.
• Experience training, supervising, and motivating retail staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure day-to-day management of the store in the absence of the manager.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming checkout environment.
• Participate in administrative tasks (cash registers, orders, inventories).
• Train, supervise and motivate team members.
