Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group is seeking a store leadership candidate to oversee daily store operations and drive outstanding customer service in a collaborative environment. You will supervise staff, participate in hiring, evaluations, and scheduling, and ensure the store opens/closes smoothly and remains clean and well-presented.

We value a friendly, autonomous, and dynamic team player who enjoys customer contact and can contribute to maintaining the store’s professional image.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience is a strong asset.
• Strong customer service mindset and people skills.
• Fluent or very good knowledge of French language.

• Plan, distribute and supervise work for team members.
• Assist management with hiring, evaluations and scheduling.
• Ensure store opening/closing and clean, well-run operations.

Within your team, your essential role will be:

• to see to continuous improvement of customer service;
• plan, distribute and supervise the work to be done by employees under your responsibility;
• to carry out, in collaboration with the management team, various management tasks such as hiring, performance evaluations or planning team's schedules;
• to see to the opening and closing and to ensure that the store is well run and clean;
• to contribute, in collaboration with the management team, to maintain a commercial image that respects the Jean Coutu Group standards;
• to see to the training of employees under your responsibility.

If you don't have management experience:

• but you have a proven track record in our industry... We will train you;
• if you have experience in retail management, this is a solid asset!

Number of hours per week:
