Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group is seeking a part-time store supervisor in Quebec. You will enhance customer service, oversee daily store operations, and help manage staff performance and scheduling. The role offers opportunities for training and growth within a supportive team.

You will contribute to maintaining a clean, well-run store and promote the company’s standards, while engaging with customers in a friendly, autonomous, and proactive manner.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous improvement of customer service.
• Plan, distribute and supervise work performed by staff under supervision.
• Participate in hiring, performance evaluations and scheduling with management.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures and maintain store cleanliness.
• Uphold a commercial image aligned with The Jean Coutu Group standards.
• Provide training to employees under your supervision.

Job description

Within your team, your essential role will be:

• to see to continuous improvement of customer service;
• plan, distribute and supervise the work to be done by employees under your responsibility;
• to carry out, in collaboration with the management team, various management tasks such as hiring, performance evaluations or planning team's schedules;
• to see to the opening and closing and to ensure that the store is well run and clean;
• to contribute, in collaboration with the management team, to maintain a commercial image that respects the Jean Coutu Group standards;
• to see to the training of employees under your responsibility.

If you don't have management experience:

• but you have a proven track record in our industry... We will train you;
• if you have experience in retail management, this is a solid asset!
