Job summary
Service Inspired Restaurants in Ontario is seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager to support daily kitchen operations, assist with food prep and quality control, and maintain a safe, clean environment. You’ll help train staff and improve kitchen workflows, with leadership development prioritized.
Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of kitchen management/supervisory experience; Culinary Red Seal designation and Smart Serve Certification are assets; strong English communication and computer skills are
Qualifications
- 1-3 years kitchen management/supervisory experience in a restaurant.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Proficient with computers and quick to learn new software.
- Experience with scheduling, inventory, product cost and labor control is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support the Kitchen Manager in daily kitchen operations.
- Assist with food prep and ensure quality control.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Help train staff and improve kitchen workflows.
- Participate in leadership development programs.
