Job summary

The Little Gym of Scarborough is seeking an Assistant Gym Director to coach, lead, and create a welcoming environment for kids and families. This role can be full-time or part-time, with teaching and leadership responsibilities and weekend availability.

You will teach parent-child and recreational classes, lead shifts, train staff, coordinate parties, and support daily operations while building strong relationships with families in a fun, safety‑minded setting.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or coaching children.
• Experience leading shifts, training coworkers, or supporting a team.
• Bring energy, patience, and a playful spirit to your classes.
• Can give clear direction and helpful feedback while encouraging others.
• Are organized, dependable, and follow through on responsibilities.
• Take initiative and stay calm when a busy day needs a little extra coordination.
• Are excited to learn The Little Gym’s curriculum and teaching approach.
• Experience in gymnastics, children’s enrichment, education, recreation, or childcare is a plus!

The Schedule

Compensation: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
