Job summary

lululemon is hiring an Assistant Global Merchant - Strategic Sales on a contract basis until March 2027. Hybrid work arrangement with Canada-based duties, including data maintenance and seasonal product flow coordination.

The role supports with merchandising content for IMBR/MBR and weekly business reviews, while partnering with account managers and the B2B team for drop days and inventory questions. This position requires travel and strong data skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with specialization in Retail or Merchandising Management is an asset.
  • Retail experience is preferred; merchandising experience is an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Financial acumen and understanding of retail math.
  • Acute eye for product and trends.
  • Proven ability to build collaborative team relationships.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently manage data entry.

Responsibilities

  • Input, update and maintain data integrity across merchandising systems and databases.
  • Enter regional inputs into global attributing database and perform data cleanup.
  • Review and validate seasonal POs in TSS and create manual PRs.
  • Execute seasonal product flow changes and ship mode changes as needed.
  • Input PO change requests and coordinate with internal teams on changes.
  • Create and manage AIF tool season codes and in-store-date clustering changes.
  • Coordinate chase requests and liaise with cross-functional partners.
  • Support with TOP sample acquisitions and fabric swatch shipments.

The Merchandising team creates and executes transformative global product strategies that ensure we have

the right assortment in the right place at the right time to fulfill our guests’ unmet needs to deepen our guest

relationships, grow our brand and deliver on our long-term enterprise goals. We possess deep awareness and

intuition of global marketplace dynamics and guest needs and use this knowledge to identify opportunities to

core responsibilities
  • Responsible for inputting, updating and maintaining data integrity across all merchandising systems and internal files and databases:
  • Complete/add regional inputs into global attributing database (incl. data scrub, cleanup)
  • Review and validate seasonal POs in TSS
  • Create manual seasonal and non-seasonal PRs in TSS
  • Execute Seasonal product flow changes to In-Store Date and execute Ship Mode Changes
  • Input PO Change requests into POC (PO Changes) file, liaise with LLO and approve vendor-initiated changes
  • Creation and style management of AIF tool each season (season codes, in-store-dates, drop day, clustering changes, in DC, etc.)
  • Input chase request in Chase Ledger and communicate request to cross-functional partners
  • Responsible for supporting with acquiring any TOP sample for meetings with account managers or key accounts. Also securing and coordinating the shipment of fabric swatches to account managers with strategic
  • Support Merchant/ Associate Merchant with content creation for IMBR, MBR, Weekly Business Review and Quarterly Meltdown
  • Own the retail validation process (review, validate and update retail prices) whenever needed and validating the mainline weekly markdowns against strategic sales assortment.
  • Provide support to the Merchandising team with day-to-day tasks
  • Work closely with B2B team with preparations for drop days
  • Support Merchant/ Associate Merchant with inventory questions from account managers and planning
qualifications
  • BA, BSc, BBA, BComm, (or equivalent), specialization in Retail or Merchandising Management an asset
  • Retail experience preferred, Merchandising experience an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
  • Financial acumen and understanding of retail math
  • Acute eye for Product
  • Proven ability building collaborative team relationship
  • Strong communication skills- both written and verbal
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently manage data entry

Compensation and Benefits Package

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this position is from$59,800 - 78,500 CADannually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and subject to program eligibility requirements.
