Your Responsibilities as Assistant Gérant:

• Assist the produce manager in planning and coordinating department activities to meet sales and profitability goals set by the store manager, while respecting the current collective agreement.
• Manage staff, including replacing the manager during their absence.
• Handle ordering and purchasing for the department, verify invoice compliance, and oversee receipt of goods.
• Ensure the store is ready to receive customers, with proper stock levels and attractive, well-maintained displays.
• Maintain proper product labeling, pricing according to corporate standards, and ensure price tags adhere to circulars.
• Ensure product freshness at all times.
• Follow planograms for product placement.
• Create employee schedules.
• Adhere to company policies (receiving, security, etc.) and health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Participate in staff onboarding, training, and evaluations.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in fruits and vegetables is required.
