Job summary

Gibbons Whistler is seeking an Assistant General Manager for The Longhorn Saloon in Whistler Village to lead operations, guest service, and profitability in a premier mountain destination. This role requires hands-on leadership, team development, and a passion for delivering memorable experiences.

You will oversee daily operations, guide a dedicated team, and ensure exceptional service standards while maintaining profitability and the venue's stellar reputation in Whistler.

Job description

Salary Range: $65,000.00 To $75,000.00 Annually

The Role

We are currently looking for a driven and enthusiastic Assistant General Manager to join our iconic Longhorn Saloon in Whistler Village. It is known for its exceptional food, service, and après atmosphere, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for providing an unforgettable mountain experience!

As the Assistant General Manager of The Longhorn Saloon, you will help provide a first-class experience for our guests and team members as well as guide the company towards profitability and long-term success. You willbe assist in overseeing all aspects of operations, ensuring exceptional service standards, profitability, and guest satisfaction.You will guide a dedicated team, nurturing a positive work culture while driving performance andmaintainingour reputationas a premier destination inWhistler.

Key Responsibilities

• Full sales & product knowledge
• Schedule and managing a team (including recruitment, training and development, coaching and discipline management)
• Attend and contribute to regular operations meeting focused on profit and revenue, labour and employee feedback
• Daily inventory to ensure the business is set up for success for the following shift
• Champion internal feedback and hook up programs
